Ridgeview: 8 Years of Delivery
After eight years on site, Shadforth has reached the finish line at Ridgeview in Narangba, completing the civil works for a 690-lot community on behalf of Satterley Property Group.
Starting in November 2018, the $59 million project progressed through 13 stages, with the final 76 lots completed in September 2026. What began as a major earthworks campaign has grown into a fully serviced community, with roads, drainage, water and sewer networks, footpaths and landscaping.
A Big Job, From the Ground Up
The scale of the works at Ridgeview was significant, with 579,000m³ of cut-to-fill, 20,400m² of retaining walls and 77,500m² of asphalt pavement delivered across the project. The team installed 10.5km of sewer mains, with sections reaching depths of up to nine metres, alongside 9.1km of watermain and extensive stormwater infrastructure. Rock, dispersive soils and creek crossings all added to the challenges on site. With protected fish habitat downstream, managing sediment and protecting water quality were important considerations throughout construction. The project also extended beyond the development, with a major upgrade at the intersection of Rainbird Road and Oakey Flat Road, including new traffic signals to improve connections to the surrounding road network.
Eight Years of Teamwork
Delivering Ridgeview over eight years has taken a lot of people working together, with strong relationships and ongoing collaboration helping keep the project moving forward. Having CV Services Electrical and TLCC Landscaping involved throughout the project also helped maintain continuity as the site evolved.
With Stage 13 now complete, Ridgeview is a great example of the work that goes into building a community from the ground up.
