Our Reconciliation Journey

We see reconciliation as a continual journey, one that inspires us to strengthen relationships with First Nations peoples and create shared opportunities for the future.

At Shadforth, our vision for reconciliation is for all Australian’s to have the opportunity to prosper economically, access housing, health care, and education for members of our community to build a future together and pass on the equal benefit to future generations.

We are committed to ensuring that our reconciliation journey increases First Nations participation at Shadforth, within the civil construction sector, and promotes the building of relationships between our organisation, personnel and Traditional Owners from the regions where we operate.

Our Innovate Reconciliation Action plan (RAP) is a vital foundation for our actions in the coming years, ensuring the continued development of our relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and organisations.

From supporting First Nations suppliers and apprenticeships, to actively participating in cultural events like NAIDOC Week, we integrate reconciliation into every aspect of our operations.
