Our WHS Framework
Shadforth is independently certified to ISO 45001, the International standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, and the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner (OFSC). Our governance framework ensures that WHS is embedded into every project through robust risk management, site-specific controls, and ongoing performance monitoring.
To support this, we have developed ShadConnect, our custom-built compliance management system. ShadConnect optimises WHS and business operations through:
Site WHS Management: Digital sign-on, real-time site reporting, instant WHS alerts, equipment prestart checklists and incident reporting.
Site Operations: Machine tracking, raising a purchase order and automated maintenance scheduling.
HR Functions: Staff onboarding and inductions, performance reviews, daily timesheets, training and certification management and employee benefits.
Subcontractor WHS
Subcontractors are critical to the success of our projects, and we hold them to the same high standards as our own people. Through our pre-qualification process and onboarding via ShadConnect, we ensure every subcontractor not only meets our compliance requirements, but also aligns with the Shadforth Way values. By embedding these values across our supply chain, we create a culture of safety, respect, and accountability that extends beyond our own workforce to everyone who contributes to our projects.
