Grab Life By The Balls

Bringing our team together to support Grab Life By The Balls and start an important conversation around mateship, connection and men’s mental health.

Sometimes, stepping away from the day-to-day and catching up over a BBQ can be about much more than just sharing a feed.

Last week, our team came together in support of Grab Life By The Balls and the important work they do to strengthen men’s mental health through mateship and social connection.

We were joined by founder Sam Parker, who spoke with our team about the importance of having good mates around you, staying connected and making the time to genuinely check in with one another.

With one in four men having no close mates, Sam’s message highlighted why creating opportunities for connection is so important.

The Importance of Staying Connected

Grab Life By The Balls is focused on helping boys and men build stronger social connections through mateship, creating relaxed opportunities to get together, have a conversation and form meaningful friendships.

For our team, the BBQ was a chance to step away from the day-to-day, share a feed, have a laugh and spend some time catching up with the people we work alongside.

It was also a reminder that looking out for your mates doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it can be as simple as asking how someone is going, making time for a conversation or simply getting together over a BBQ.

A big thank you to Sam and Anna for joining us and sharing such an important message, and to everyone who came along, especially those who took a turn behind the BBQ!
