Supply Chain

Our supply chain is fundamental to Shadforth’s ability to deliver safe, high-quality, and sustainable outcomes for our clients and communities.

The Shadforth Way, built on Positive Energy, Respect, Ownership, Protect and Winning Team, guides how we work, and we expect every partner in our supply chain to share and uphold these values.

Supply Chain

We believe that lasting relationships are built on trust, collaboration, and performance. That is why we carefully select partners who not only bring capability and expertise, but also demonstrate a genuine commitment to work health and safety, quality, integrity, and sustainability.

In addition to abiding by our Subcontractor Terms and Conditions, all suppliers and subcontractors must comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct and related policies.

Supporting First Nations Partnerships

Shadforth is committed to creating meaningful economic opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through our supply chain. We actively engage with verified Indigenous businesses, fostering strong partnerships that create sustainable opportunities and promote inclusion and diversity within our supply chain.

This commitment is embedded within our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), which guides our approach to building stronger relationships, increasing workforce participation, and supporting long-term economic outcomes in partnership with First Nations communities.

Subcontractor Prequalification and Site Onboarding

Shadforth requires all subcontractors (including subcontractors engaged by Shadforth subcontractors) to undergo a company pre-qualification process. By maintaining a pre-qualification status with Shadforth, subcontractors can access Shadforth sites and/or complete works for Shadforth.

Subcontractor company representatives that have verified upcoming work on Shadforth sites should receive a registration email to complete a Subcontractor Onboarding form. If your company has not yet received the Onboarding form, please email the Shadforth Compliance Team.

Once pre-qualification status is verified by the compliance team, subcontractors will be invited to onboard for a Shadforth project through our custom-built compliance management system, ShadConnect. This process includes completing onboarding checklists, submitting Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for review, and uploading the relevant plant documents (where required) for the work being undertaken.

Online Inductions

All contractors (including supervisors and employees), subcontractors, delivery drivers or any other person requiring access to Shadforth sites must complete the ShadConnect general Workplace Induction and the Site Specific Induction Course prior to entry on site. The induction covers a range of Shadforth expectations, WHS requirements and Site Specific Hazards relevant to the site being entered.
