Shadforth team volunteers time and skills to support Lily House on the Sunshine Coast
Every child deserves a safe place to play, and every family deserves spaces that help them feel at home.
Recently, the Shadforth team donated materials, equipment, time and expertise to help transform an unused area at Lily House into a safe and functional outdoor play space for the women and children they support.
By constructing retaining walls and steps, the team turned what was previously an unused section of the property into a level, accessible space where mums and children can safely play, connect and spend time outdoors together.
Lily House is a Sunshine Coast charity that provides supported accommodation and holistic care for women and children experiencing crisis. Their work creates a safe and nurturing environment where families can rebuild their lives with dignity, stability and hope.
Giving back to the communities where we live and work is an important part of who we are at Shadforth. We are proud to have contributed to a project that will have a lasting impact on the families at Lily House.
