Stockland - Springfield Rise Monster Machine Day

Families get up close to construction equipment while learning how the region’s future communities are being built!

More than 2,500 people came together for Stockland's Monster Machine Day at Springfield Rise, with families enjoying a hands-on opportunity to experience the impressive machinery helping shape one of South-East Queensland's fastest-growing communities.

The community event gave visitors of all ages the chance to explore a wide range of construction equipment, from massive excavators and loaders to haul trucks and rollers. Children climbed aboard the machines, sat inside oversized excavator buckets and enjoyed miniature ride-on equipment, while learning about the important role these machines play in delivering essential infrastructure.

Shadforth were proud to be part of the day, giving the community a behind-the-scenes look at the equipment, people and expertise involved in bringing new communities to life. Throughout the event, our team spoke with families about the construction process and the work that goes into building the roads, services and infrastructure that support growing neighbourhoods.

With perfect weather and a fantastic turnout, the event created plenty of excitement and sparked the curiosity of the next generation of construction enthusiasts. Seeing children engage with the machinery and ask questions about how projects are delivered, highlighted the value of connecting the community with the people and equipment behind major infrastructure projects.

It was fantastic to see the community come together and celebrate the machinery, innovation and teamwork that help build the places where people live, work and play.
