Shadforth Supports DV Safe Phones

Providing our community and those affected by domestic violence with the support and means to remain connected and safe.

At Shadforth, we are committed to supporting initiatives that make a real difference in our communities. That’s why we’re proud to support DV Safe Phone, a remarkable Australian initiative that helps victims of domestic violence stay connected and safe.

Every day, people affected by domestic violence face the frightening reality of isolation. A working mobile phone can be the difference between being trapped and being able to reach help. DV Safe Phone collects, repurposes, and distributes mobile phones to registered charities, safe houses, and law enforcement agencies, providing those at risk with a vital and secure lifeline to safety.

This year, Shadforth’s IT team took the initiative to gather, clear, and test dozens of surplus mobile phones from within our business. Each phone was carefully wiped, checked, and prepared to ensure it was safe and ready for a new purpose.

Our involvement with DV Safe Phone reflects Shadforth’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and to the communities in which we live and work. Whether through local sponsorships, volunteering, or supporting vital community services, we’re dedicated to doing our part to build safer, stronger communities.
