Launch of our Reconciliation Action Plan

Creating partnership, cultural understanding, and a shared commitment to reconciliation with First Nations communities.

Shadforth proudly launched our second Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) at the Aura Project on 11 March 2024. Our Innovate RAP is a vital foundation for our actions in the coming years, ensuring the continued development of our relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and organisations. We extend heartfelt thanks to the First Nations communities for their invaluable wisdom and insights, crucial for our understanding and involvement in Reconciliation.

Kerry Neill, of Kabi Kabi, Waka Waka, and South Sea Islander descent and Director of TribalLink, attended the event, offering reflections on our shared history, the essence of reconciliation, and the collective role in nurturing unity, embracing change, and shaping a future of respect, understanding, and harmony.

The TribalLink 'Sunrise Dancers' cultural performance was a highlight, captivating all present. The Shadforth Innovate RAP represents not just our ongoing dedication to reconciliation, but also a call to action. Shadforth is committed to building meaningful relationships, listening to how we can help and then taking action to help further the reconciliation process. We are committed to ensuring that our reconciliation journey increases First Nations participation at Shadforth and within the civil construction sector. Promoting and building of relationships between our organisation, personnel, and the Traditional Owners of the regions in which we operate and live.
