Everleigh Precinct
Scope of Works
Shadforth are currently engaged to deliver extensive civil construction works for the Everleigh Precinct, a 3,300 lot masterplanned community spanning more than 470 hectares in Greenbank, Queensland. Shadforth’s works to date include bulk earthworks, road construction, underground services, retaining structures and water-sensitive urban design infrastructure.
The project also includes major upgrades to surrounding road networks, temporary and permanent sewer infrastructure, and significant environmental works to support long-term community outcomes. Delivered across multiple stages, the works require careful coordination, detailed planning and strong collaboration to support ongoing development while maintaining safety, access and quality outcomes.
Challenges and Innovations
The Everleigh Precinct presents a range of technical, environmental and logistical challenges, including hard rock conditions, complex service corridors and works adjacent to live traffic and established communities. Shadforth have addressed these challenges through innovative construction methodologies, specialist plant and proactive risk management.
All designs are converted into detailed 3D models to identify and resolve service clashes prior to construction, using emerging technologies such as HoloLens and SiteVision, ensuring all services are constructed in the correct sequence to authority standards efficiently. Significant environmental considerations were also managed, including the decommissioning of a large dam and the relocation of aquatic fauna in accordance with Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors’ Code of Practice.
