Shadforth has one of the largest fleets of plant and machinery of any civil contractor in Australia.
Consisting of over 350 pieces of heavy plant and 250 light vehicles, Shadforth has the capability to self-deliver projects of any scale.
Our fleet is made up of specialist plant that supports 15 full sized drainage crews, over 40 road and earthworks crews, as well as concrete and maintenance crews.
We also have at any one time over 150 dedicated "owner operated" and "hired plant" to supplement our fleet, ensuring that we have the agility and scalability to handle the construction of any project.
To service, support and maintain such a large fleet, we employ over 65 diesel mechanics, auto electricians, fitters, welders, parts interpreters and administration personnel within our purpose built workshop facility on the Sunshine Coast. We also have over a dozen mobile service vehicles to support this fleet in the field.
To transport this fleet, we have 7 low loaders and tilt trays within our fleet and work closely with 9 heavy fleet haulage companies that allow us to shift our fleet quickly and efficiently across our various work site locations across Australia.
This large scale of fleet ensures that Shadforth delivers our clients' projects within pre-agreed time frames.
Given that projects are often delayed by factors such as wet weather, design issues or even statutory authority approval hold ups, having the ability to scale resources accordingly ensures that our clients can be confident that Shadforth will do everything possible to meet critical dates for priorities such as plan sealing or project openings.
Shadforth, delivering quality infrastructure sooner.
